I wrote The Last Rocketship with my children and my wife, mainly because they wanted to make sure there were not too many ‘dad jokes’.
The book is truly our families creation. We would sit down at dinner and discuss the characters, the themes and of course the adventure. After dinner, I would write, or read to them a recently drafted chapter. Feedback was (at times,) intense!
